Arne Jacobsen

Arne Jacobsen was a Danish designer and architect. The Number Seven Chair and The Ant Chair helped propel Jacobsen to the forefront of designers. His Egg chair and Swan chair are acclaimed for their organic and almost sculpture-like qualities. Jacobsen was known as much for his chairs as for his contributions to the Functionalist movement.
