Kai Kristiansen

Kristiansen had set up his own studio at 26, and his first major success – the #42 chair – was designed. The backrest that appears to be floating, along with the arm rests being supported by the rear legs helped make this chair stand out, and solidified Kristiansen as an innovative and out-of-the-box thinker.
