Isamu Noguchi

United States of America (November 17, 1904 - December 30, 1988)

Isamu Noguchi’s illustrious career spanned six decades. Noguchi was a Japanese-American landscape architect and artist who designed furniture and lamps, some of which are still in production. His most famous piece, the Noguchi table, came about when collaborating with Herman Miller in 1947 alongside George Nelson and Charles Eames. Noguchi’s works live on at the Noguchi Museum, in New York City.
