With a focus on clean and comfortable lines, Greta Jalk greatly enhanced the reputation of Denmark when it came to Modern Furniture Design. Originally viewed as untraditional in design for consumers, her furniture was in demand for exhibitions and collectors. The Laminated Chair, her most famous design, has only a few copies left of the 300 that were originally produced with some recently selling in auctions for over $10000.
